Vintage Pewter Apollo 11 Lunar Module Model On Wooden Base

A vintage Apollo 11 solid pewter Lunar Module mounted on a nice wooden base.  The LM itself is 3" at its base and almost 3" high and the wooden base measures 5" square by almost 2" high.  A plaque is attached to the base with Neil Armstrong's first words on the moon.  The model weighs almost 2 pounds and is in excellent condition.  Made by The Collector's Case in Rhode Island.  Very attractive and very uncommon.

Four Vintage Lunar Module Gulf Oil Kits

Four vintage 12-1/2"x 20" Lunar Module cardboard punch out and fit together models from Gulf Oil. Each piece must be separated from the main sheet, folded where instructed and fit together with other pieces by way of tabs and slots to form a 3-D Lunar Module. This dates to the time of the Apollo 11 mission, and I remember putting together 5 or 6 of these when I was a kid (still have one). All four are complete but it looks like there is a manufacturing weakness in one of the small pieces.  On all four that piece has become unattached or is threatening to.  Still complete however.

Apollo 12 EVA-1 Prep & Post Checklist Cards

Two 8"x 10½" Apollo 12 EVA 1 Prep & Post heavy cue card checklists taped together to swing open forming one long checklist.  One side is for EVA 1 PREP and on the back is the checklist for POST EVA 1. The cards are dated 25 Oct 1969 and 31 Oct 1969, which is about 2 weeks before the launch, so these are the latest versions of the EVA 1 checklist.  These cue card checklists were used in training, no doubt by Conrad and Bean, and are the exact same type of cards carried in the LM and used by the Apollo 12 astronauts on the lunar surface.  Both cards are in excellent condition.  Extremely rare.

An original 8"x 10½" Views From The CM And LM During The Flight of Apollo 12 booklet dated October 17, 1969 (1 month before launch). It contains 297 pages, most of which are exact depictions, in the form of illustrations, showing what the Apollo 12 astronauts will see out their windows at any time during the mission. There are 12 main sections and some of the section headings include Discussion of Data, Mission Geometry, Views From CSM During Translunar Phase, Views From CSM and LM During Lunar Orbit Phase, Views From CSM During Transearth Phase, Views From CM During Entry Phase, Views Through Scanning Telescope, etc. Nice condition and quite uncommon. The consignor's name has been covered over for the photo at his request.

Apollo 16 Lunar Module Timeline Book

An 8½"x 10½" Apollo 16 LM Timeline Book with the last completion update on June 9, 1972, but most the checklist dating late 1971 to early 1972.  It consists of 23 heavy two-sided pages (46 total pages) of timelines, procedures, rendezvous plots, switch positions, etc.  Additionally, in the front are about 15 copied pages of checklists containing many pencil annotations.  The Timeline Books were the books most heavily used during training by all the Apollo Lunar Module Pilots.  This one was no doubt of the type used by Charlie Duke in the Simulator, and in fact, this is the LMS-1 copy (Lunar Module Simulator).  These were not commercially available, but were made in very limited numbers - only a handful.  Excellent condition with many pencil data entries inside.  Rare.

An 8"x 10½" Apollo 16 and 17 Final LM Rendezvous Procedures booklet dated December 29, 1971 from MSC.  It contains 6 main sections with many tabbed subsections and a total of about 150 pages of charts, graphs and information on LM rendezvous.  Apollo 16 was the J-2 mission and Apollo 17 was J-3.  Overall nice shape.

Apollo 17 25th Anniversary Pen With Flown Metal

An Eversharp metal space pen made in part from metal that flew aboard the Apollo 17 spacecraft.  It is engraved "Astronaut" on the clip and written on the body is "25th Anniversary Apollo XVII, December 1972 - 1997, Gene Cernan, Commander".  Complete with paperwork and in a presentation case.  The small gold seal on the card describes the pen as containing metal from Apollo 17.  Excellent condition.

An original Apollo 17 Beep Beep access badge complete in its plastic clip case.  Stapled into the case, but otherwise very excellent condition.  This badge was given to the consignor on Apollo 17 launch day and it refers to the time when most of this crew was the backup for Apollo 14 (Schmitt later replaced Engle).  Rare.

Five Rocks Rolled Over By Apollo 17 Transporter

Five rocks rolled over by the crawler transporter while carrying the Apollo 17 Saturn V to the launch pad.  These were collected by the consignor on August 28, 1972 and come with a hand-written note to that effect.
